The Maine Healthy Beaches Program is a partnership
between the University of Maine Cooperative Extension/Sea Grant, the Maine Department of Environmental Protection, and local municipalities. The program is funded by the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency through the Beaches Environmental Assessment,
Closure and Health (BEACH) Act of 2000.
